by Escada
Escada Collection is a deeply warm, honeyed gourmand with a rich, velvety core of plum, caramel, and vanilla, layered with soft white florals and a subtle earthy musk. It feels indulgent and luxurious—like a velvet coat wrapped around your skin—with a sillage that lingers as a soft, powdery trail. The scent unfolds slowly, revealing a balsamic sweetness with hints of dried fruit, sandalwood, and tonka bean, evoking memories of caramelized pastries, vintage cigarette smoke, and old books. Though some note a cola-like effervescence in the opening, the overall effect is soft, feminine, and deeply comforting. It shines in cooler months, especially autumn and winter, where its warmth is most appreciated. The longevity is excellent—lasting well beyond 6 hours for many, and even longer on skin, with some reporting it was still detectable 7+ hours after application. Despite the continued demand, it has been discontinued and is now rare, with prices soaring on resale sites. Though it lacks strong floral dominance and is not fruity in a linear sense, its depth, nuance, and emotional resonance make it uniquely cherished.
