by Olympic Orchids Artisan Perfumes
A highly challenging and polarizing citrus-floral fragrance that opens with an intense, icy burst of kaffir lime leaf, artemisia, and pandanus, creating a sharp, green, and somewhat metallic aura that some describe as industrial or cleaning-product-like. The scent is initially dominated by bitter, sour, and green herbaceous notes, with a prominent lime that feels both citrusy and exceedingly sharp—more lemongrass-like than fruit, especially on sensitive skin chemistry. Over time, the aroma evolves into a deeply textured, airy floral with hints of passionfruit, lily-of-the-valley, geranium, and a subtle sweet contrast, alongside a textured musk and dry woody touch, giving it a humid tropical freshness. Longevity is strong, with a noticeable sillage that lasts long into the day, though it doesn’t overtake. The fragrance is particularly suited to spring and summer, and while it's officially labeled unisex, many experience it as unapologetically bold and radically feminine, with few finding it balanced or subtle. Despite its strong opening and unusual characteristics, it settles into a more refined, if still intense, drydown that maintains its complexity through several hours.
