Forever Now (Gucci Museo)

Forever Now by Gucci is a dry, woody chypre with a restrained and sophisticated character, developed in collaboration with Lorenzo Villoresi. It opens with a bright citrus and black pepper freshness, highlighted by lavender and mandarin, before settling into a complex, powdery woody heart dominated by Tuscan iris, suede, and leather. The middle notes feature Bulgarian and Moroccan roses, ylang-ylang, and nutmeg, creating a subtle floral warmth beneath the leathery and earthy base. The drydown is a smooth, musky amber with vetiver and patchouli, giving a quiet but sensual depth. Despite its elegant structure, the scent is notably weak in sillage and longevity—many users report it barely projects beyond the skin and lasts only around three to four hours, even with multiple sprays. It wears close to the body and is best suited for cooler seasons, particularly autumn and winter. The overall impression is one of mature elegance, with a refined, nearly diaphanous texture that feels more like a personal or intimate scent than a bold statement.
