Kurokami is a refined, softly elegant floral chypre that opens with a bright, juicy burst of clementine, grapefruit, and orange, quickly unfolding into a luminous floral heart dominated by jasmine and rose. The rose here is ethereal and green-hued, more resembling freshly picked petals than a synthetic or candy-like rose, enhanced by the herbal depth of spikenard and the resinous, varnished richness of palisander rosewood. The base is deep and lingering, with sandalwood and Himalayan nard lending a warm, slightly camphoric woodiness that supports the floral core without overwhelming it. The scent unfolds quietly and gracefully, with excellent stage-by-stage development, emphasizing natural harmony and complexity. As it dries down, the fragrance lingers as a faint, slightly indolic jasmine and woody haze above the skin, offering a meditative, clean, and immersive experience.
