Magic Night is a dark, complex, and mature chypre fragrance that closely evokes the vintage Lancôme Magie Noire, particularly the early 1980s formulation. It features a rich base dominated by patchouli, oakmoss, musk, and subtle hints of civet, honey, and spices, creating a deep, sensual, and intelligent character. The opening includes sharp bergamot, black currant, and galbanum, giving it a bold, almost metallic edge, which mellows into a textured floral and woody heart of rose, jasmine, and lily-of-the-valley. The dry down is mysterious and persistent, with a dark, resinous quality that lingers for over 12 hours, even on skin that typically absorbs fragrance quickly.
