Capeline is an ethereal, feminine white floral fragrance centered around a realistic and dewy lily note, enhanced by sweet ylang-ylang and creamy vanilla. It opens with a subtle citrus whisper before revealing a luminous, velvety lily that feels fresh yet rich—like lilies after rain. The aquatic and marine notes add a saline, airy quality, balancing the sweetness and preventing it from becoming cloying. The dry down features a soft, powdery vanilla-musk base that lingers as a delicate, skin-hugging scent, giving it a sensual, intimate feel. While not overly long-lasting or strong in sillage, it possesses moderate longevity and a moderate, wearable projection that feels just right for day wear, particularly in spring and summer. The composition is well-blended and high-quality, evoking whiffs of Frédéric Malle Lys Mediterranée and Al Haramain Junoon Noir, with a surprisingly balanced, tropical-tinged vanilla that keeps it from feeling too sticky or sunscreen-like for most, although some find the vanilla and musk combo too pronounced over time.
