Blue Ridge presents a fresh, fruity-citrus opening with a minty sweetness that recalls YSL Y EDP but with a more pronounced sweetness and lighter texture, resembling a lighter, more accessible version of that iconic blue fragrance. The early notes feature black currant, citron, and Italian mandarin, leading into a clean, airy middle dominated by lavender and ozonic notes, with a slightly powdery character that some find reminiscent of BR540 or the original Y EDT. The dry down brings in a woody, patchouli-heavy base with subtle leather and sandalwood, creating a soft, slightly sweet and earthy trail that remains present but fades quickly. Though performance is deemed moderate to weak on most skin types, some report wearing it up to 9 hours with heavy application, though it tends to dissolve into the background quickly. It’s most suitable for day wear and well-suited to spring and summer seasons, with a moderate sillage that lingers close to the skin.
