by Nina Ricci
Nina Soleil is a bright, summery gourmand with a fresh citrus opening and a creamy, floral heart. It opens with bergamot and mandarin orange, creating a vibrant, slightly tart and airy impression that evokes citrus creamsicles or a breezy seaside day. The harmony of vanilla, whipped cream, and gardenia gives it a soft, sweet creaminess without being overwhelming—more floral and milky than dessert-like. As it dries down, the fragrance transitions into a subtle woody-airy base with a faint cedar presence, offering a dry, clean finish that feels both restrained and refreshing. There are hints of lactonic, solar, and slightly metallic creaminess, reminiscent of sunscreen and ocean air, which contributes to its summery character. It performs best in spring and summer, especially during daytime wear, and wears closely to the skin with moderate sillage. It’s reminiscent of Tom Ford Eau de Soleil Blanc but softer, more tropical, and less complex.
