Bella Night evokes a soft, sweetly spiced floral that unfolds with a delicate saffron-alcohol opening, leading into a creamy vanilla-sugar base. The initial spray feels faint and watery, with a pronounced, astringent alcohol note that fans out like spilled solvent, making it seem insubstantial at first. As it dries down, the scent becomes a thinner echo of Baccarat Rouge 540—distinctly warm, ambered, and slightly smoky—but lacks the richness and depth of the original. It is most detectable at close range, with minimal projection. The sillage is intimate, and longevity is moderate at best, requiring overspraying for any real presence. A few users report an odd, off-putting scent layer akin to bathroom tiles or cigarette smoke, though this is not universal. Others appreciate the floral fruity-amber transition, particularly its crème brûlée-like sugar warmth as a dry-down, while most acknowledge it's a less refined version of BR 540.
